Here we go, Rome!

Rome is a historical and beautiful city, tho alot of tourism spots that require entry ticket - which I think is quite pricy. However, they are all pretty awesome with interesting history behind. Let me show you some popular tourists "must see" places.

01 // Colosseum

The most impressive is ofcourse the colosseum. The entry ticket is 12€ with very long queue. You can also buy the ticket with tour guides for 25€, access to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, which they will also introduce you the history of the places.

02 // City Centre

After visiting the Colosseum, we took a walk around city centre. There are some archeological sites every where around the area. Some you may entry freely. It's definitely an old and historical city with lots of fun and mysteries!

03 // Piazza Venezia

Walking along the main street of the city centre, there is a "grande" building standing right in your sight. The monument is dedicated to King Victor Emmanuel II, who is the first king of Italy.

04 // Trevi Fountain

This is the most most crowded tourism spot I've ever been. You will need to squeeze in to get a perfect spot, or maybe you won't have a chance. But it is truly a nice place, which worth visiting. I wish I could sit there for some time to enjoy the environment, but even I went there at night, the crowd were still there. Oh!!!! I also saw someone proposing beside the fountain! #enjoytheromanticmoment

05 // Pantheon

Enjoy the architecture of the majestic Pantheon! There are alot of people siting around the fountain infront of the Pantheon together with the moonlight and cool weather.

06 // St. Peter's Basilica

There is a long long road walking towards the basilica. You can see it from far, which stands out obviously from the city - feel the WOW from far and WOOOOWWWWW in near. It costs 40€ to enter the basilica, which I heard it will be amazing, but tho, I don't have enough budget. I really wish I could enter! Well, next time! I will be back!

07 // Archeological Park of Ancient Ostia

It is a very huge archeological park, where you can see alot of students visiting. It requires entrance fees of 8€, but we got student discount for only 4€.

08 // Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi

There are alot of artist in the piazza around the fountain. Alot of nightlife (pubs and restaurants) going around this area, where you may find a place to sit down and have a nice drink!

09 // Basilica of Saint Paul

We eventually did not plan to visit this, but however we did and we never regret it! IT IS SO SO SO NICE! The interior of the basilica is the best I've ever seen. I enjoy the mighty ornaments and architecture of the basilica, which I feel peace and protected. I really like it alot!!!

I could have stay more days in Rome! There are more more more things that I did not have time to visit. Although I spent alot of money for entrance fees in Rome (and I think it is somehow too commercialise), but I enjoyed this ancient city alot alot! Hope to be back one day! See you again!
