I recommend these few places to go in Florence (ranking according to my preference), they are actually quite near to each another, within walking distance. You will somehow see them when you walk around the city centre.
05 // Take a half day trip to Pisa
Get a bus or train to the Pisa in less than 2 hours. Pisa is a small city with a main shopping street and piazzas around. Try to simply walk around the city centre and visit the Leaning Tower of Piazza. Have fun with taking an interactive photo with the tower! #patternkingandqueen

04 // Have a Picnic in a Piazza
Buy a panini (sandwich) and a gelato to enjoy events and movements in a piazza. Enjoy talking to someone next to you and get to more about people!

03 // Explore Artisans along Uffizi Gallery
Sketching, painting and some artist show are happening along the the Uffizi Gallery. Stop by and look at the arts, and if you like one, buy it! They are pretty awesome! There are also statues standing around the piazza and gallery. The architecture of columns and buildings are masterpiece!

02 // Day and Night View in Ponte Vecchio
It is an old bridge with shops along, mostly jewellery shops. View the bridge from a distance is awesome, however walking along it has nothing much. Visit the place in daytime and night time as well, you will get different inspiration!

01 // Visit Duomo - Capturing Architectural Masterpiece
Just looking from the outside of the basilica is so grande and majestic! Tho the place is super crowded with people and selfie sticks, it is worth to explore the masterpiece of the architecture in Florence. Get a chance to climb up to the top, it will be an amazing experience to overlook the city!
