Venice is a wonderful island with canals and boats snaking throughout the city. I like Venice to be colonise by pedestrian, without any traffic and cars. The maze like alleys bring surprises, so forget about the map and get lost in the city!

So, this is our 3 days itinerary in Venice, it may not be the best, but the suggestions are my true feelings! *I learnt them from my experience hahahaha* (Scroll till the end to see my friendly advices!)
Day 01 // The City of Venice
We arrived at the Venice Marco Polo Airport at around 9.30am and took 2 hours bus, which cost around 10€ to get into the island. The transportation in Venice is very convenient with the water bus, which links throughout the city. We bought the ACTV ticket (it is the cheapest in our case), which valid for 72 hours and cost 28€. When we first arrived in the city, we took some time to get lost, because it's really a maze. *seriously* So, estimate some time for yourself to get lost before you reach your accommodation. By the way, it is not convenient to pull a luggage walking around the city, because you need to get up and down the stairs and bridges, which makes me get so exhausted.
After checking in and got some brief information, we started our journey in the city of Venice. First, buy a gelato! You can find it everywhere. Choose a cheaper one with some favours you like. (It usually cost 2-3€ for a scope in Venice)

After that, keep your map into your bag and simply walk around the city. Walk into narrow alleys, it surprises you a lot! There are a lot of bridges, which have nice views to the river and the gondolas. Hmmm... We didn't ride a gondolas because it cost around 80€, which we think it's too much. We can walk around the city and look at the same view, so if you are on a budget trip like us, you may save some money from here.

For lunch and dinner, average price in Venice per meal is around 8-12€, some may come with appetiser and drinks. I'm not too fancy with pizza, so I can't recommend anything good. *ops, sorry!* But I would like to try any food within my 10€ budget. Explore some food! You may find something you like.

Here is our PAINFUL EXPERIENCE. Look at those birds, they are cute, pretty and friendly, no doubt at all, BUT look at that guy! He put some food on our hand in a sudden, within 0.1 second, while we still figuring what is going on, all the birds surrounded us and snap the food on our hand. The most amazing part is ... he ask us for money with a very unpolitical and unfriendly way. What?! Why?! I didn't ask for it! You just stuck it in our hand without my permission! Well, never mind, we gave him some coins, around 2-3€, all the coins we have. He say NO, he wanted 20€! WTF?! Please imagine our WTF-face. Ok ok, he looks like he is going to pick a fight with us or what, we just gave him what he wants. Oh godddd! I regret of not being brave enough to say NO! I swear to god that I won't make the same mistake. But how should we do in this case? We are just 2 little girl ... *cry with painnnn*
Day 02 // Outside the Island
To travel around the island, the water bus is very important. The first island we went is the Murano, the glass city, which is famous for its glass making. You can buy some nice souvenirs here - glass made items.

The next island, Burano, is a fairy tale city with colourful houses along the canals. Find a nice view and take a photo. Be a prince or princes in the wonderland of Burano! You can also walk into the village, look at the houses or talk to some people, they are friendly! Hmm... But some may not so fluent with English, so learn some basic Italian.

The last island we visited - Torcello, is a place with some historical buildings. It is a quiet and peaceful island, tho it has nothing much compare to other island.

Day 03 // Prepare for the Next Destination
We took an early train at around 7am to our next destination - Florence!
Friendly Advices
01 // Choose a gelato of fruits flavours - strawberries, banana, melon or even lemon if you like. They taste better!
02 // Send a postcard to your friends and family in Venice!
03 // Spend some time to sit along the Grand Canal and enjoy the view! It's even better to find a quite spot.
04 // Beware of pick pockets and humbug! Learn from our painful experience ... Don't be like us!
